Las Vegas isn't the first location that comes to mind as a Christmas destination. However, it was the prefect spot for our Winter photo shoot. While the Vegas Strip was in hibernation until New Years, we ventured about 30 minutes into the desert to visit Red Rock Canyon. It is an expansive nature conservatory surrounded by mountains of different colors that attract hikers and rock climbers from around the world. The mountains in the distance were 8,000 ft high and covered in snow, while the smaller Calico Hills had interesting sandstone formations. In this behind the scenes video, you will see the beauty of the desert landscapes that inspired the photography. Check out the limited edition photos from the trip in our Nature Gallery!
