Check out the Colorado vlog:
1. White Water Rafting
Since it was my birthday, I decided to cross off a major bucket list item: white water rafting. Colorado is the perfect place to try white water rafting because it no shortage rafting challenges from novice to expert. We went with Echo Canyon River Expeditions tours, which had beginner level rapids on the Arkansas River, a scenic river that cuts through canyons and cliffs. We chose the "Big Horn Sheep" half day rafting tour, which combines white water splashes with the calm of a lazy river. It has a combination of class 2 and class 3 rapids, perfect for a first time white water rafting adventure for the whole family. For comparison, level 6 is the most advanced rafting which basically means Niagara Falls rapids. Filming Gear: GoPro Hero5 Black
2. Royal Gorge
Be sure to leave your vertigo at home before visiting the Royal Gorge, which is one of the largest canyons in the US. The Arkansas River, which we just went river rafting on, winds right through the gorge. Atop the gorge is one of the highest suspension bridges in the world, which costs $26 to walk across, or you can also take the aerial gondolas for panoramic views.
3. Seven Falls Waterfall
It is no wonder that Seven Falls Waterfall ranks as one of the top attractions in Colorado Springs area - it is truly majestic. As the name suggests, it features a seven tiered waterfall which you can hike of climb a vertigo-inducing staircase to the top. Once at the top, there are a variety of nature hikes where you can experience the beautiful Colorado flora and fauna. The cliffs surrounding the waterfalls were reminiscent of a mini Zion National Park - steep, rocky, and unreal. Best of all, this was all accomplished in 24 hours.
